Understand the Motif
Sonship: The one Son of God, in whom all individuals share a single identity—eternally whole, perfect, changeless, and incapable of separation from the Father. It is the self that belongs to you and to God, and it is your salvation.
Sonship: God has only one Son, and every apparent individual is an integral part of that one Sonship, with no fragmenting possible into genuine separation. The Sonship is a perfect creation in the sense that perfection has no degrees; all Sons are equal, eternally sinless, wholly joyous, and co-creators with God. Whatever any part of the Sonship experiences is experienced by all, and no decision is made by an individual alone but by the Sonship as a whole. The ego insists that the Sonship is fragmented and that an individual mind can be wholly independent, but this belief has no power to change the reality of oneness.

Consider the Context
The Sonship is presented as an undivided union that makes private strength impossible. Loving thoughts are described as belonging to every part of the Sonship because the Sonship is One; sharing is therefore natural rather than virtuous. Teaching and healing are framed as collective in effect: what you accept in mind is not yours to keep.
The section also points to the Sonship’s joint will as the one creator able to create as the Father does, linking completeness with shared thinking. This becomes a practical correction to spiritual individualism. You cannot atone, heal, or return to God alone, because the identity being remembered is not solitary. Joining is not optional—it is the content of healing.

Where do I still treat love or strength as personal property instead of recognizing it as shared in the Sonship?

Choose one loving thought right now—simple appreciation or kindness. Offer it mentally to the whole Sonship: “This belongs to all of us.” Notice how that softens specialness. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your next interaction as shared teaching.
