The Power of Holiness

Understand the Motif

Peace: An attribute of God that is your natural inheritance as spirit: a state where the mind stops warring with itself and becomes quiet enough to remember God and know itself.

Reflect

When do I prefer my own interpretation even after it costs peace, and what would it look like to invest in the Holy Spirit’s interpretation instead?

Consider the Context

Peace is described as something that grows as listening increases. The emphasis is not on heroic effort, but on accepting the Holy Spirit’s interpretation and applying the ideas given. When you rely on personal interpretation, results are unstable; when you rely on His, peace becomes dependable.

The section urges investment in truth and then a willingness to let truth work in peace. That phrasing protects you from forcing outcomes. Peace is the sign that you are letting guidance do its job. As listening becomes the habit, peace expands, and the mind learns to trust that the Holy Spirit’s results are kinder and more consistent than the ego’s.
