Understand the Ego Trap

The Protective Blade

“I’m not attacking. I’m just protecting myself. If someone ends up feeling guilty, that only proves how unsafe this is.”

Watch Your Mind

Wrong-mindedness: Protection is made to depend on someone being wrong, unsafe, or guilty. The moment defense needs an edge, attack has already been invited in as safety.

Right-mindedness: Correction begins where blame would normally be recruited. Safety is preserved by undoing fear, not by sharpening it against a brother.

Carry This With You

Safety is lost the moment you need guilt to feel protected.
