T-7.VII The Totality of the Kingdom acim.org/acim/en

Totality returns as the mind releases private interests—giving and receiving as one, joining the Sonship, and letting the Holy Spirit reinterpret attack and scarcity into peace.

Recognize What's Happening Beneath

Underneath the arguments about fairness, behavior, and what happened, a single wish is being undone: the wish to be separate without cost. The ego tries to protect that wish by calling union sacrifice and by making deprivation feel like common sense. This unit keeps reversing that logic—showing that what is truly given increases, while what is held privately becomes unstable and fearful.

The deeper correction is gentle but uncompromising: perception is a learning device, not a foundation, and it will reflect the Teacher you chose. As the mind stops demanding that the world prove its interpretation, the need for defenses quiets. What remains is a simpler willingness to join, to be reinterpreted, and to let totality—rather than private interest—define what you are.

Reflect

Which brother do I still deny in some form, and what self-image do I keep by holding that denial?

Practice

Pick a person you resist. Say: “The Kingdom is total; I cannot exclude you and know myself.” Ask the Holy Spirit to use this relationship as a mirror for healing. Spend one minute letting the thought of shared holiness replace the story.
