Time is reframed as a tiny obstacle that forgiveness and the Holy Spirit undo, as the mind chooses the Holy Instant and remembers the changeless Will of God.

Recognize What's Happening Beneath

Under the language about time and Heaven sits a simple psychological mechanism: the ego keeps one ancient instant—one verdict, one fear, one grievance—alive by replaying it as if it were present. Judgment and sin-thinking supply the justification, and the body’s vulnerability is recruited as evidence, so the mind forgets it is the decision-maker.

The correction is gentle but uncompromising in content. Atonement means the Answer is already in, so the task is willingness: let the Holy Spirit reinterpret what you are using to delay, and join rather than defend. When the past is treated as an already-corrected error, resurrection is experienced as a quiet rebirth in the present, and time loses the role it was given.

Reflect

What fearful instant do I keep replaying as if it is happening now, and what shifts if I let it be over and choose the present with the Holy Spirit instead?

Practice

Notice one recurring replay about the past. Say: “I am willing to let this be over.” Ask the Holy Spirit to bring you from past to present, and take one breath as if nothing from that replay is required in this instant.
