Seeking and Finding
The ego’s program of searching for love without finding is exposed, and the Holy Spirit reorients purpose so seeking becomes finding, life, and shared inheritance.

Teachings Drawn from This Section
-
Means—End. Seeking is diagnosed the same way: the ego urges the form of searching while setting not-finding as the actual end—forever receding, always hungry. The Holy Spirit’s search is aligned: you look where the answer is. The same activity becomes depression or joy depending on which teacher set its goal.
-
Kingdom. The Kingdom cannot be bought, sold, or earned. Whenever you treat Heaven as a future reward for becoming better, you have turned it into a commodity. It is given because it is what you are. The only price is the willingness to stop defending the belief that you are separate enough to deserve or not deserve it.
-
Idols. The ego’s god is a god of crucifixion, demanding sacrifice—the belief that worth must be purchased with pain, love earned through loss. Whenever you feel you must suffer to be good, you can hear the idol’s logic underneath. Other symptom-idols—depression, numbness, even death treated as treasure—share the same structure: an illusion appointed as rescuer, paid for with joylessness.
