Creation is remembered as Love’s extension and thus true communication; the ego’s separateness, defenses, and comparisons are exposed as blocks, and willingness restores joining.

Communication. Communication is not merely something created beings do—it is what being is. True communication is complete, universal, and closer to light than to language. It is equated with creation because creation is extension—joy that cannot contain itself. The ego’s version is selective and disruptive, turning sharing into negotiation and calling the resulting strain “relationship.”

Creation / Extension. The mind is imaged as a channel. It doesn’t generate its own source; it carries what it receives. When clear, what flows through is undistorted. When blocked, the flow stops at the point of resistance and the mind experiences lack. The ego’s fixes—filling an imagined void with made objects, relationships, identities—cannot address a misperception produced by withholding.

Creation / Extension. Teaching and healing are connected to extension. Teaching is demonstrating the content of mind by what you extend. Healing is undoing the blocks. The Holy Spirit is introduced as the Voice for creation—the part of your mind that still knows the direction of flow.

Kingdom. Love without conflict is the sign of reality. The Kingdom is not a prize for spiritual effort but the state of creation itself. Heaven is equated with identity: what you are as God’s effect. Having and being meet—what you have is what you are, and what you are is shared. Nothing can be privately owned because nothing is separate enough to be owned.

Revelation. Revelation’s content cannot be shared, but its effects can. You cannot use inner certainty to reorganize someone else’s life, but you can let it soften your defenses, undo your appetite for attack, and change how you listen. Communication is redefined as extension—what moves through you because you are no longer blocking it. The test is simple: does it make you more willing to join?

Invulnerability. Invulnerability is demonstrated relationally, not hoarded privately. By letting your brother know—through your lack of grievance—that he cannot actually harm you, you withdraw the projection that made him dangerous and give him back his innocence. The ego would love invulnerability as a private fortress; the Course steers it toward joining, helpfulness, harmlessness.
