Chapter 28 — The Undoing of Fear

Greater joining comes by refusing to share the sickness-dream, accepting Atonement’s correction, and letting the Holy Spirit shift cause in the mind so healing follows as union.

Illusions Illusions have no effects without your support; join the dreamer and release the dream. Atonement Accept Atonement by withdrawing support from sickness dreams and choosing union. Sonship The whole picture returns when every gap is forgiven as unreal. Cause and Effect Refuse to witness fear, and the dream loses the effects you feared. Sickness Support a sickness-dream and you share its effects. Fear Refuse the fearful dream, not the dreamer; stay joined while standing apart from terror. Healing Accept union, and the one you call sick is not apart. Miracle Healing fills the gap when separation is no longer insisted on.

Form—Content The seeming gap between bodies does not divide what is whole. Willingness Refuse participation in fearful dreams; willingness lets illusions be replaced by healing. Body The gap between bodies is nothing when minds accept greater joining.
