The Coming of the Guest
Welcoming the Holy Spirit as an inner Guest dethrones the body as cause, undoing sickness-and-sacrifice thinking and letting healing, peace, and joining be received and therefore given.

Teachings Drawn from This Section
-
Body. At the peak, the body considered by itself has no content, and its emptiness is release. Safety is relocated in God, not in form. The body becomes a temporary classroom and communication device within a dream you are learning to outgrow—useful for a night, disastrous as a foundation.
-
Sickness. The trail closes with a bracing exposure: demanding the body carry identity, safety, and worth makes it into a god that cannot deliver, and then it becomes the target of attack. Release comes as the demand is relinquished—the body is allowed to be nothing in truth, neither condemned nor exalted—and sickness loses the pronouncement that defined it.
-
Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is Guest, Friend, Presence—already waiting at the threshold. He cannot help without invitation, not from withholding but from respecting choice. Cherished illusions are the substitutes that seem to occupy the throne prepared for Him, and the instruction is simply refusal of substitutes. His gifts may go unnoticed when not wholly welcomed, but peace replacing conflict, even briefly, is His signature.
