Teachings Drawn from This Section
-
Changelessness. Late in the Text, changelessness becomes an inner dwelling place—infinite quiet, time departed, identity abiding in Father and Son. The way in is through your brother: accepting the changeless and eternal in him, because your identity is there as well. The world is put in its proper place—a classroom, not a home.
-
Kingdom. At its peak, the Kingdom is presented as a changeless dwelling place—infinite peace that does not fluctuate with personal stories. The way you behold your brother becomes the way you behold yourself. Forgiveness is correction in the mind—the undoing of projection so that what is already quiet can be recognized. You can never have more than Heaven, because Heaven is already total.
-
Memory of God. Remembrance is portrayed as a dwelling place—echoes of eternity heard in a quiet resting place. Innocence is the condition in which God can be remembered as Love rather than feared. The final caution: don’t seek God through the world’s pathways. The Source hasn’t wandered off; the problem is only where attention has been sent.
