Chapter 21

Reason and Perception

The mind is centered as cause: projection, judgment, and guilt are exposed as choices, and vision offers a way to choose again. Responsibility for sight gathers decision and willingness into one practice, and faith, turned from sin’s bargains to the Holy Spirit, becomes vision that undoes sacrifice. Reason restores peace by returning perception to its cause, exposing the ego’s madness of private sin and bodily separation. Freedom returns as you choose again in the mind, and constancy replaces bargaining as the Holy Instant reveals the peace already given.
