Teachings Drawn from This Section
-
Miracle. Equality becomes the engine: the miracle answers every call the same way, refuses sacrifice, and insists that a true solution is one in which no one loses. You cannot accept a miracle alone—the healing is in the joined mind, not in separate bodies.
-
Form—Content. The ego’s use of form grows refined. Love, or the plea for it, is the only meaningful content; everything else is decoration around one of two purposes. Attack can look gentle, tragic, polite, even helpful. The frame-and-picture metaphor insists: a frame can be ornate and captivating while hiding the picture entirely. Freedom depends on comparing purposes, not packaging.
-
Right-mindedness. Peace becomes the reference point, and the ego’s survival strategy is named: secrecy. The practice is to bring every hidden hurt and feared thought to the Holy Spirit rather than protecting darkness. The very act of bringing weakens the ego’s claim. Everything is divided into two kinds—expressions of love or requests for it—removing personal hierarchies of importance and making miracles equal in content.
-
Scarcity Principle. Scarcity follows you into spiritual practice. Prayer becomes a bargain—let me receive without valuing what is received. Resistance to guidance hides the same premise: asking feels like theft because you believe help will cost your autonomy. Ranking miracles, problems, and calls is competition in spiritual clothing. The correction is scandalous in its generosity: God’s giving is maximal to every call. Stop ranking and you stop competing for love.
