Teaching–Learning. Guilt is not merely an emotion but a learning blocker—it insists on punishment and specialness and makes learning difficult. The Course asks you to demonstrate invulnerability as a refusal to claim that harm is real. When your peace breaks, the instruction is simple: stop interpreting and ask to be taught again.

Peace. Peace becomes a gentle test: if fear is present, you have not accepted truth as your Teacher. But peace is not avoidance—it is not the mind that says “I’m fine” while secretly seething. It comes from looking at the thought you don’t want to look at and letting it be corrected. Forced peace is brittle; genuine peace requires contact with what you’ve denied.
