Grandeur versus Grandiosity
Grandeur is reclaimed as God’s shared, changeless gift, while grandiosity and littleness are unmasked as one attack-based ego swing that ends when the mind chooses the Holy Spirit.

Teachings Drawn from This Section
-
Littleness. A sharper turn names littleness as chosen, not given. If it is a decision, you can question it. Grandiosity and littleness are the same project—self-authorship—performed at opposite poles. Accepting littleness is not humility; it is arrogance, placing your personal self-evaluation above God’s appraisal. Greatness is not superiority but what is already true, shared, and beyond comparison.
-
Specialness. Superiority and inferiority are two strategies in the same game—the ego cannot understand equality because equality would undo the whole system. Specialness can dress up as spirituality, and the role of healer becomes magic when treated as an exclusive gift. Grandiosity and clinging to littleness serve the same purpose; pride cannot be shared, while love confirms itself through sharing.

Defenses. At the zenith: if you feel you need defense, you have already decided you are something that can be attacked—you have identified with an illusion. Reality does not need protection. Defenselessness emerges as strength, not passivity—the recognition that you do not need to protect what you truly are. Forgiveness becomes the only meaningful defense: it protects without attack.
